“Allison Gross från Bolagshagen” is a total recasting of the traditional ballad “Allison Gross”. This version takes place in present time, in a run down residential area outside of Norberg in the Swedish province Västmanland. The video is based on material from Benjamin Christensens silent movie “Häxan” (The Witch) which turns 100 years this year (1922-2022).
